Education for Free (General School Log, all) (OPEN LOG)
Who: Anyone who wants to go to school
Where: Any of the schools found in the Calendar (there are other schools, but your characters would only be going to those)
Summary: General School log! Start your own threads, make threads, or just have your character going to school and meeting the others. You have carte blanche.
Warnings: Nothing for now.
April 1st. While for many it would be a day for jokes and pranks, in Japan (and by extension, Hinoto-Ri who clung on some things from the past like precious memories), it was the start of the school year.
Those that were of age had gotten their papers already, and hopefully you had read the messages involving it. Otherwise, SURPRISE!
Thankfully, it didn't seem like the government was pushing for you to go absolutely, but they were STRONGLY SUGGESTING it for your own good. Your own enlightenment, if you will. Besides, it was free education, why pass that up?
These are the adventures of those inside of school on their first days...

He's always been weird, and if wearing next to nothing down there helped his performance, then Aki'd be more than happy to do it, and your eyes just had to deal with the unfortunate consequences. I don't know if they have a real beach somewhere, but we can go to the river and smash watermelons, and go swimming at a pool, and maybe climb the mountain - although we could do that this spring, too...
Oh, and movies! I bet they put on film festivals here, too. That'd be fun to try again. Afterwards we can get takoyaki and ice cream.

[What should have been a rescue, perhaps, was already turning into tightening the grip around poor Shinjiro. While Miki was not a huge fan of smashing a watermelon (waste not, want not was nearly drilled into her brain), at least they got to eat it afterwards.]
There's a beach or two around here... I went during the time we had the Frost and Pyro Jack weather wars. You just need to use the aerial tramway to get there.
[Also she hadn't stood there few a few minutes watching you two talk. That would be silly. Very, very, very silly.]

[Not like they can't be bought somewhat economically for the uses you can get out of it. He'd say Miki's suggestion sounded reasonable (more reasonable than some of Minako's), except having a shichirin meant going places to use it. And who the hell knew where they'd end up.]

I'm fine with yakitori, too. We can probably try all kinds of different things. I think some of those books have good grilling recipes...

There are plenty of things he could cook on a shichirin. Finally try his hand at cooking Hibachi-style food and see if shichirin still cook as evenly as they say. He wouldn't mind trying it. Chicken was popular, and eel, and grilled vegetables were far better than any of that. Could even make a stew out of it if he tried, and not have to think of Aki wanting everything on a bed of rice.
But to say something like that would make it seem like he was tacitly approving whatever they were planning. He's afraid of what he might get roped into. You don't agree to anything without having the facts right in front of you.
The only godsend is that class starts again in fifteen minutes.
He never thought he'd be looking forward to it, but Minako's good at accomplishing the impossible, especially when she has an accomplice.
