Summary: Saturday morning, starting at 5:00am but going on most of the morning Ruri is trying to hack the city network, if you want to meet her in cyberspace not it, but the chaos has been approved and if you want to interact with that that's been approved too.

Something was in the air, it was making people nuts and to some degree Ruri herself wasn't completely free of it. She suspected it had something to do with the missile strike since that's when things started but couldn't prove anything. Then the government started acting shady and she decided it was time to take her months of preparation setting up zombie systems in every coffee house and community center that had free wifi and installing little decoys on every computer she fixed (Though not AI's she still for some reason almost preferred them to people) and find out just what the government was hiding. Knowing full well that most IT personnel were night owls and that 5am was right around when they went to bed and were not on top of her game she walked into the command center of the Nadesico and warmed up the distortion field and all her com systems.

"Omoikane, we have to do this now. I know I still would like another few months of preparation but I think we have enough set up to bury a bug in the system."

With that she closed her eyes and jacked into the system, hoping her technical know how and what little she learned about magical formula, her persona, and Omoikane would be able to allow her to cleanly bypass all the magitech used by the locals.

Sadly, it didn't.

At exactly 5:08 am, EVERY comp device in the city blared the "Flight of the Valkyries" (Omoikane liked to showboat and Ruri was too distracted to tell him to knock that shit off) at their maximum volume. After about 15 minutes the volume went down, but they continued to play the music over them.

At 5:32 am imagine the kid's surprise and amazement that when their normal morning talk shows would come on (Damn you TV for doing away with Saturday morning cartoons.) They would meet the epic lost anime legend, Gekiganger III (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q59R_TLcH1E) followed by the entire 39 episode epic series.

"Omoikane, this is taking too long."

At 6:16 am every loudspeaker in the city begins blaring Michael Jackson's epic song "Thriller" partially because Omoikane thought it would be a good way to bring in the fall, but mostly because its another system decoyed too as Ruri grumbles about getting nowhere fast.

By the time people were out in the morning, if they walked by an ATM, they may notice occasionally it would just spit out money after a brief whistle, or they may notice the walk and do not walk signs flashing after mere seconds. It getting so bad at one point around 8:00 that the walk character climbed up into the do not walk character's area and beat it to death before motioning people to just keep walking and blocking all traffic.

At around 9, any restaurant with a computerized delivery system will start getting bombarded with orders, all of them for insane amounts of food and all of them targeting city hall and any business owned by a visitor as well as the various apartments. Sadly only the ones going to the visitors appear to be paid for, the government is on its own.

Also around this time all of the most psychotic paperboys and paperdemons in town were alerted to the fact that many people owed them two dollars, cash, and were advised to stalk those poor random souls with as much ferocity as possible till they paid up, despite the fact that US currency is not used in town.
