Starting this week, the apartments also now have TELEPORTERS! These allow you to go from one apartment facility to the other.

They can be found in LEVEL 4 and are big enough to accommodate everyone (but maximum 5 at a time). However, due to the fact that they are still in the testing phase, you may find yourself appearing in the wrong part of the 4th level in the other building -- and that does include above the swimming pool. Hope you like water! (Thankfully this doesn't happen most of the time...most of the time.)

Start your thread with your character's name and their room number. You can always add what they might be doing, or just leave it open for other people to come in. Others then reply to them with the date that they come in and let the CR begin. Fun times are had by all!]

The name plate on the apartment door has been crudely scribbled over with magic marker. Beneath the nameplate, a sheet of paper with a different name is taped to the door.

Well, that's...different.

Well, this was something that beckoned to him like few things could these days.

Alcor had been beboping around the dorms, getting a feel for the various lifeforms and their rhythms and patterns. It was one of his odder hobbies, but what else could a star alien do to pass the time?

But the door had bothered him almost immediately, and he delicately stretched his blue wire out to touch the paper taped to it. Maybe it was silly nostalgia, but he eventually did "knock" on the door.

The door is flung open in response to your 'knock'. Standing behind it is a young man with blue hair, grinning slightly too widely as he greets you.

"Hiii, Mr. Hypercube~! Nice to meet you!"

There was not even a second of hesitation between seeing you and greeting you - seems like he didn't even register the strangeness of having a floating cube knock on his door.

Good. See, Alcor likes this already. Except the 'how is your face doing that' part of the smile, whatever.

"You are one of the new residents, are you not~?"

But he's actually matching you in enthusiasm, sort of. As much as a monotonous alien cube can.

"I am attempting to greet several of the guests here. My name is Al Saiduq."

"Oh cool. Feel free to call me whatever!"

Pause.

"I mean, most of the time it defaults to Minato, but it changes every so often, so I'm not too particular."

If this were a more proper Persona game, there'd be flower emotes.

"Your name is an aspect of your free will- you have the ability to decide it for yourself. This is a lesson I learned from mankind, and have adopted it for myself."

SMILE.

"Yeah, free will is great! I was really surprised when I got mine back!"

The UNIVERSE? Now she had to check that out.

Knock knock, universe.

The door creaks open at your knock - seems it was already open - and a cheerful voice calls out.

"C'mon in!"

Shura steps forward and peeks cautiously inside the room. Who knows who or what is inside?

Well, it appears to be a girl with long blue hair, cutting vegetables with some kind of weird combat knife. She smiles - slightly too widely - when she sees you.

"Hiya!"

This is the Universe? Appearances can be deceiving and all, but... Shura felt a bit disappointed.

"Hello. Are you the Universe?"

The girl is still looking away from the vegetables as she replies.

"Well, I'm a Universe, at least!"

With her eyes off her hands as she talks, she doesn't seem to notice when the vegetables she's slicing are finished, and the knife cuts a jagged gash in the back of her left hand. When she finishes speaking, she glances down at the counter and sees the blood pooling around her hand.

"Oh hey."

With a shrug, she lifts up the cutting board and scrapes the vegetables into the soup pot on the stove, blood and all.

"Fuck, are o--!!!" Shura was going to help, but she's frozen on the spot when she sees you adds the vegetables and the blood to the pot and you're not taking care of the wound oh god. "D'you have a medkit???"

She looks puzzled for a second, then glances down at her hand.

"Eh? You mean for this? But won't it just heal on its own?"

She sounds...honestly confused. Why are you panicking?

"You're dripping blood everywhere! In the soup too!" In fact, Shura doesn't wait and starts looking for a medkit in the tiny apartment all on her own.

She looks at you, honestly confused, before shrugging and going to the sink. Turning the faucet on, she starts washing her hands. Naturally, the water turns pink as it runs over her cut, which starts bleeding faster. She seems to find this fascinating.

"Oh hey, look!"

Shura comes back with a rudimentary first aid kit she has found in the bathroom. "Good. Wash it so we can treat it." She is not fascinated, sorry.

She snaps out of it and quickly washes up before placing her cut hand, palm down, on the cutting board. Carefully, she moves around so that her body is out of line of sight between you and the counter.

"Now, when you do this, make sure it's an underhand throw. Control is more important than distance when you're this close."

...what is she talking about?

Shura looks at her confusedly, gauze in one hand and a roll of bandage in the other.

"... what are you talking about? I'm just gonna wrap you up."

Her head tilts to the side, bangs swaying.

"But that's like...hospital stuff. For medicine, don't you just throw it at someone?"

As the door opens, you can see a young man with blue hair behind it. He smiles a little too widely and brushes his bangs out of his face with one blood-streaked hand.

"Hi!"

He doesn't really seem to notice the blood.

Not what she was expecting, but let's go with it. "Well, hello there! I just thought I would pop in and introduce myself! You've, er, got some red on you."

He looks at his hand in surprise, seemingly unaware he was bleeding.

"Oh hey you're right! Wonder how that happened."

Anyway, manners. He extends his (unwounded) hand.

"Nice to meet you! I'm a Universe, call me whatever."
