Like Bulls in a China Shop: Taurus Log
▼ The Darkening Days
Who: Everyone. This is a general catch-all Taurus Event log. If you would like to do your own separate logs either due to pacing or easier loading, by all means, please do so!
Where: The Entire City
Summary: The last days of the Taurus event as things start to sour dramatically. During the 13th hour, Mutation Skills are unlocked for certain people (see the info post here) and now people have a chance against the swarming mechanized bulls. Unfortunately, for some, this means the paranoia hit a new low....if you want, you can get together and join each other's posts to try to hold the city down and protect everyone!
Warnings: Strange Attitudes, NPCs, Attacking, Battles.
Note: Please mark your post with what date they are happening. We are allowing anywhere from the 23th to future-dating to the 26th itself. Go on and have fun!
▼ The nights grow weary and a pattern seems to be forming...(days until the 26th)
How completely wrong they would end up being...
▼ The day of reckoning...(April 26th, before the 13th Hour)
More research was needed...but there was no time now.
Somehow, everyone that had gone to the holding facilities were being freed from their confinement areas. No one knew who or got in, or how they got out, but many guards were injured in the process-- or worse.
The city turned into an all too (unfortunately) familiar sight. The Taurus civilians were causing havoc in the city, joined by others that the city had not predicted. Observers and Researchers quickly realized that these were all the earth signs, and a signal was given out; but too little, too late.
The city needed to fight back, lest it lose even more of its members. The situation was dire, but they had the Visitors on their side.
...For better or for worse.
▼ The Hour at Hand...(April 26th, 13th Hour)
By now, the city was in chaos. For those who had witnessed the Scorpio outbreak it was an unfortunate similarity they might want to forget, but for others, this horror was brand new.
Giant mechanical bulls patrolled the city and continued to swarm, the police force trying to contain them and help as many as they could.
As time went on, mechanical parts and rocks fell to the floor from the bulls. Once the 13th hour hit...the remaining ones mutated, standing on two legs. And that wouldn't even be the worst of it...
And yet even in this Hour, there is hope. Power surges in a select few, and with a new skill at their tips, the battle may be won yet. But remember your mission: you came to protect this city. That includes the people living here. With so much chaos, you'll also need to help them and reduce the number of deaths as much as possible...and try not too look too closely at a looming figure in the Taurus Ward...

[So, nope. Not a Taurus, fortunately.]
no subject
[This is very important to him right now, even though he would rather it not be.]
--Fine.
no subject
[She's willing to aid him, while Miyako's relatively calm.]
no subject
[Manic voice aside, he's definitely more... subdued. Guess it's hard to be energetic when you're spending so much of that energy being afraid of your own shadow.
Even as he begins walking again, he's muttering under his breath.]
no subject
She looks around, keeping an eye out for anything. Especially Taurus people.]
no subject
He can't restrain it, but at the very least he can keep it quiet. So, in the last attempt to keep some sense of control over his own actions, he merely mutters, ignoring the compulsion to outright scream.
His steps come to a sudden halt when they get to the place - a small grocery that doesn't look like it's frequented by many. With a small pause to steel himself, he bites down hard on his lip and enters silently.]
no subject
...What are we getting, Mizushiro?
no subject
[He can probably survive off of that for a while. It will be simple and none too healthy, but even with those few ingredients he should be able to make a couple of different dishes for slight variety.]
no subject
[They can leave out the meat, but vegetables are important to anyone's diet. Miyako's walking over to where the milk are.]
no subject
[Wow that was a bit louder than it really needed to be. He's just gonna hurry up and grab a pack of eggs.]
no subject
[No, she's not concerned. But she prefers his snark instead of this.]
no subject
[Said in a tone that indicates very clearly how there is not a drop of actual remorse there.]
You don't have to help, you know.
no subject
[Let's see, bread, is it?]
Otherwise, I would leave you be. [So shut up and accept her help.]
no subject
I can't imagine what you'd get out of helping a wreck like me right now.
[Let's see, this grocery usually has - ah, there we go, a small bag of potatoes. Not that he's admitting to anything, but since Miyako is around to help, carrying all of this will be easy.]
no subject
[Milk, eggs, potatoes...that leaves the bread. She walks over to the bread section, looking at the selection from white to whole grain sliced loaves.]
But I can leave right now, Mizushiro.
[...Um, which type of bread?]
no subject
[He certainly doesn't seem to think so. When he sees her dilemma, he simply walks over and grabs his preferred type - white bread - before toting his things over to the counter.]
no subject
[She noted his preference, filing away the information for later. If she ever need to know that Hizumi like white bread, for some reason.]
no subject
Cold as ever, I see.
[Alright, paying for stuff, and... it is now time to book it. He sets a quick pace as he leaves, more than eager to return to his apartment.]
no subject
[After the checkout, she follows after him. They live in the same apartment, anyway.]
no subject
[And now that they're out of the store, he's back to mumbling to himself again. This is going to be a fun trip back.]

Was that enough data for you, or should I write you a ten page report too?
no subject
I wouldn't mind it at all, but I would worry the report may get compromised.
no subject
[Good thing that report won't ever exist in the first place.]
