Penguin's Nest Grand Opening
Who: King DeDeDe, the employees of the Penguin's Nest, a whole bunch of succubi and incubi, and YOU
Where: The Penguin's Nest in the Taurus District
Summary: There's a new nightclub in town, and it's having its grand opening tonight
Warnings: This place is an adult entertainment venue, so potentially sex, drugs, alcohol, and things like that. Probably just regular mingling and chatting, though.
[Creepy graffiti be damned, this penguin has a club to open. It's been a busy few weeks: getting the electricity connected, hiring employees, orchestrating various demons that showed up looking for work that would suit their own appetites, and schmoozing with the locals in the area to ensure everything would go off smoothly without any native / visitor strife on the big night.
The work seems to have paid off, and the place is newly renovated and ready for business. The area around the entrance has been cleaned up, and there's a velvet rope outside to mark the building as something other than a simple warehouse. The door has an emblem of a cartoon DeDeDe giving a V-for-victory sign - his personal insignia from when he was still the king of Dreamland.
Piano music can be heard from behind the door, inviting visitors in for a night of adult pleasure. Do you enter?]
((OOC: The club is open for business! Threadjacking and mingling is encouraged. If there's anything I've missed, or if there's a location you'd like to play in that I haven't made a thread for, feel free to create your own.))

But probably because of the fact that he doesn't look like he's much older than fifteen? He does carry himself like an adult though, and he's doing his job as best as he can!
While also not trying to pay too much attention to the live "Entertainment". Humans, and demons, are so weird.]
Permission to use the Force to recognize him as a robot?
Go for it!

[Oh! Suddenly Kazuya pops up beside you Naoya, leaning on the bar with his elbows, a little grin on his face]
It's always weird seeing you out and about. You know. Outside. Sociably.

Of course, he couldn't arrive like a normal person either, oh no. He just had to suddenly appear in a seat, like a ghost fading into sight. Materializing right before your very eyes, perhaps. This man certainly wasn't here a few seconds ago...and he looks very, very out of place here too, not even getting a drink or anything, just looking around with an amused smile on his face, observing human behavior.]

Wait a minute, he knew this guy. Oh it was that weird...Arucoru? He met him months ago, but he still remembered him when he fell into that damned pool]
Long time no see.

Still, she couldn't help the curiosity that struck her when she heard that DeDeDe had a business opening up... and with everything on her mind weighing down on her shoulders lately, a little alcohol probably wouldn't hurt either.
When the bounty hunter entered the club, she wasn't wearing her armored suit or her zero suit (probably to DeDeDe's disappointment), but instead came in wearing a 'casual' military outfit fit for a starfleet commander, her hair pinned up.
Surprisingly, the place wasn't as loud as she'd expected it to be, which was a comfort. It was certainly as uplifting as she'd expected, but she could deal with uplifting better than loud.
Samus made her way through the club, glancing here and there at the peculiar guests before seating herself at the bar.]

He saw the woman approaching before she sat down and assessed that, based on the way she carried herself and how she was dressed, she was one of those types who needed to loosen up. Once she was seated, he offered her a charming smile.]
Is there something I can get for you, dear lady?

Live Entertainment
DeDeDe has also hired a few musicians to play in the bar part-time: Nikolai, Joshua, and Johnny. The rest of the time, the speakers simply play pre-recorded music in the background.]

When not playing, he'll grab himself a drink and a smoke, and pick a corner by himself. Keeping away from all the demons, thanks.]

Those really do something for you, pal?
[Huh. An earnest-sounding incubus trying to shoot the breeze? That sure was...abnormal as hell.]

Really, as long as people were enjoying the music or the atmosphere, that was good enough. Besides, the music and the bar, he was plenty busy and it all fed right into his social butterfly tendencies.]
General Mingling
DeDeDe's Office
and finally
Man, this is a nice place you've got here!
[Okay, no, that wasn't it at all. Really, all this amounted to was Adachi's sheer boredom and wanting to jump in on something pretty damn good. Could he? He sure as hell was going try jumping right in, anyway. It went on seeing just how crooked this guy was, just how much Adachi could even squeeze his way into this weird world. It really was something Adachi had never seen before, and the opportunity was just dangling in front of him. He was just way too impulsive not to take it.
Though, when he closed the door behind him with his foot, he kept his voice light, kept it matching his smile.] Looks like I was right about you being pretty smooth, too! [Yeah, he'll just repeat some of the stuff he texted DeDeDe, just to drive who he was home.]
no subject
Take a break, girls. Looks like I've got some business.
[Sitting up just a little as he takes his drink in hand, DeDeDe leans his other hand on the head of his hammer and takes a quick glance up and down at Adachi, sizing the man up. His demeanor is calm, collected, and confident - after all, DeDeDe's stared straight into the face of the devil before and lived to tell the tale.]
Have a seat.
[Smiling a little, he gestures to one of the plush chairs adorning the room. The whole place is very comfortably appointed. It doesn't take DeDeDe long to catch on to just who's paid him a visit once Adachi starts talking.]
Piece of cake, my boy. I told ya before - this ain't my first rodeo.
