The 13th Hour - GENERAL LOG
The 13th Hour
◐
Who: AnyoneWhere: The entire city
When: This week
Summary: This is a General 13th hour log.
Warnings: That depends who is there
Music: This
When it is darkest, men see the stars...
The snow was falling softly in the night sky when the heavens turned red again. The nearly black sphere of the upcoming new moon meant the monster population wasn't overly aggressive and the creatures wouldn't offer much challenge.......or that's what was supposed to happen.
That night, there was a strange pull. The demons had acted odd that day, but even when asked, they were unsure why. To keep the population safe, the mayor had asked the city to stay inside that night and let the city police and visitors do their job.
It was a good thing he had. As the first minute of the 13th hour continued, something happened...the signature tail in the sky of something appearing, much like when the Guests had shown up. Only this time it was hundred of such little signals. The sky was filled with them, and people were ushered inside buildings as much as possible. Something was wrong.
Something was very wrong.
New creatures began to move around the city. For some, it would be creatures they might have wanted to forget. Yet for others, this would soon be forgotten when not flesh but stone, rock and metal, rose from the very ground, pieces of their homeworld reborn in Hinoto-Ri...
Extra Long OOC Blurb
[(Make sure you read it!) Alright 13th hour post!
This will be up to you on what you want to do; start a new post where you can character's name and OPEN and write the days they'll be wandering during the 13th hour. Join other people's post, do some exploration, post them fighting monsters and just have some fun leveling up / interacting! For this log only You can level a persona twice meaning if they are used in a post with one group and in a post with another group, you can level up your persona twice. The conditions is that the fighting must happen on two different days. You can do this with only one persona, however.
For the buildings, each one gets its own thread. The original owners who submitted will be the first to see them, due to a strange pull that made they feel like they NEEDED to go to that area. What they do with this information is up to them; they can contact others in their group, start exploring by themselves or allow the thread to be open for others to come in with them...it's all up to you. That next morning, the government will be coming over to analyze them (that will be done offscreen, however).
FOR THE CREATURES 1) The creatures have to be in the Beastary for you to use them. You don't need to use creatures from your own home worlds either, as long as someone's put in a creature in there! No boss characters that night, since it isn't a full moon. Also make sure your characters could logically take onthe creatures you pick let's not have them take down a giant tree when they couldn't normally.]

As soon as the pull disappears, snapping out of existence, he slows down, pulling up alongside her. He lets his breathing steady and even out, surveying the dorm quietly, carefully. He's not sure if he should be suspicious of it, or take it for exactly what it is at face value. At least now he understands now what that strange sensation had been leading them towards—that makes sense at least, as much as anything here does.
And though he's wondering "why?" as much as Minako is, there's also an element of "why the hell not?" to it. If the city could bring him here—bring Minako here, bring people who are supposed to be dead here, buildings probably weren't all that complicated in comparison. He remembers what things had been brought with him when he arrived, and is pretty damn sure he remembers hearing some of the visitors had their cars and ships had been brought over right along with them—Mitsuru had her motorcycle. ...So what's a building to a place as strange as this?
But at the same time, the Dorm doesn't need to be here, and he always would have thought that if it had a chance of arriving, it would have arrived at the exact same time one of them had.
The only way to make sure it was what it looked like would be to see it for themselves—then make sure it was there in the coming morning, and not some Thirteenth-Dark Hour bullshit. The red sky still looks strange and makes him uneasy—the Dark Hour always does.
But for the moment, he'll give the Dorm the benefit of the doubt. It's been a long time. ]
Didn't think I'd be seein' this place any time soon.

But... how is this possible? And why?
no subject
[Maybe it's an unconscious thing, wanting something important from your world to exist. Maybe they're becoming more of a part of this place, and this is a part of that transition, hell if he knows. The Dorm's sudden existence does make Hinoto-ri seem a little more like "home," though it will never be Iwatodai.]
It's been about four months, hasn't it?
no subject
[But they did have a large number of people from their shared universes around, compared with other visitors to Hinoto-ri. She can't claim to understand how this place works yet.]

[Although she doubts that's really the case, it's a funny mental image.
Anyway, she finally puts her hands on her hips and turns to him with a smile. Her expression has changed. He should know this face. It's the same one she wears whenever they climbed higher in Tartarus.]
Well, we're here now. Let's go take a look inside!
no subject
He almost smiles back, but nods instead, holding back a cough itching at the back of his throat. The doors are unlocked, thankfully, and he steps inside, mouth thinning as he discovers that the lights don't seem to work—though why would they? But there's just enough light through the windows and doors to lay to rest any lingering doubts as to whether or not the building was what it had appeared to be.
The layout's certainly the same as he remembers it, from what he can see, and his mind fills in the rest as he allows his eyes to adjust. All it is is emptier, darker, though he somehow doubts that will stray true for long. He can't say that this place ever felt like "home" to him, exactly—more like a place with a familiar roof and a familiar bed underneath it—but...]
Well. So much for the key.
no subject
Normally she'd be a lot much more considerate towards the nearby neighbors but she couldn't help but let out a surprised scream that was much too loud for this hour. It's also a little crass, honestly.]
WHAT THE HELL?!?
no subject
How is that even possible? ]
How did it... get here?
no subject
[Akihiko's voice trails off, though his eyes are wide as he slows to a stop in front of the dorm.]
How is this even possible?
no subject
But Minako is too distracted by "standing in the dorm" to pay it as much attention as she walks further inside. It's sort of difficult to see in the gloom, but it looks mostly the same... if bare The bulletin boards are blank.]
If this isn't the real place, it's a pretty good copy.
no subject
Whatever it is, it's close enough.
no subject
He is relieved, though, that it's something like this and not some awful bit of trouble. He is glad that Minako and Shinji are safe and okay. ]
Should we... look upstairs?
