The 13th Hour - GENERAL LOG
Who: EVERYONE who is in the Scorpio Event and not doing the boss battle.
Where: The Entire City
Summary: 13th hour. The Perfect Link's Mutation Skill is unlocked and now people have a chance against the swarming Scorpions. Unfortunately, for some, this just means the paranoia hit a new low....you can group and join each other's posts and try to hold the city down and protect everyone!
Warnings: NPCs, Attacking, Battles.
13th Hour.
The city was in chaos. As it hit, the population attempted to return home, but it was too late. The scorpions continued to swarm, the police force trying to help as many as they could. You might even spot the Anoli once in a while...although they were only helping those that had Persona. Regardless, they were, at least, doing something.
The corpses of millions of scorpions were littered in the city streets. But once the 13th hour hit...the remaining ones mutated. But that was not the worst of it...
Oh no...
The Scorpios of the city now had a Scorpion tail dragging behind them, capable of causing Poison and Paralyzing damage. On a normal human, this was already terrible enough...
On a Persona User....they needed to be taken down.
Quickly.
And yet even in this Hour, there is hope. Power surges in a select few, and with a new skill at their tips, the battle may be won yet. But remember your mission; you came to protect this city. That includes the people living here. With so much chaos, you'll also need to help them and reduce the number of deaths as much as possible...and try not too look too closely at a looming figure in the Scorpio Ward...

Need a Persona awakening moment?
yes please!

A dramatic pause.
"Hide under the bed until it's all over!"
He pauses. "Okay, that's just kind of how I feel right now -- SCORPION!"
He pushes her out of the way, only to get smacked away by the thing in turn. Ow. That didn't go quite the way he expected.

She trailed off when she reached for her sword only to remember that she had tossed it away a moment earlier. This was not a good time to be unarmed. And where did that giant chicken go? Wait, the chicken! That was it! Well, not the chicken specifically. She had one of those creatures at her beck and call, too, didn't she?
"Persona, if you're here, help me!" Elaine was suddenly aware of a woman standing beside her, in a flowing white gown. La Sirene did not speak, but instead smiled gently and waved her hand, sending a wave of Aqua at the offending scorpion... and probably soaking Guybrush at the same time. Oops. Whatever worked, right?

He throws his hands up over his head as it approaches -- and then suddenly, water. Eeeeeeverywhere. It's a good thing he can hold his breath for ten minutes.
He sits there, looking like a soaked rag. "On the plus side, my uncomfortably damp clothes and the fact I'm freezing my butt off now is proving to be a really nice distraction from the overall feeling of doom and terror I've been having lately."

There was another splash of water nearby. Elaine looked up to see La Sirene had taken over scorpion-slaying duty. Apparently she decided the lovebirds deserved some alone time. "This is going to take some getting used to."

The chicken doesn't look particularly flattered by the nickname.
