you are here alone again in your sweet insanity
Who: Tsukasa and OPEN
Where: Aries ward; near Hülle Granz Cathedral
When: Late on July 15th into the 13th hour
Summary: Tsukasa is glitching out worse than before, and so he attempts to take refuge in the one familiar place he knows.
Warnings: .hack//SIGN spoilers if that can still be considered a thing at all? Possible flashbacks to Tsukasa's offline life so abuse and trauma warning.
[10ish PM]
[Everything was going wrong. Tsukasa was glitching so badly that he couldn't hold his staff anymore. It just kept going through his hand, and his vision was messed up so badly he could barely figure out where he was going. There was only one place for him to go.]
[And so after several hours, the Cathedral is in sight.]
[It's just a matter of being able to see or hear long enough to get over there - not an easy task when his entire body is randomly covered in static and his voice is nearly incomprehensible.]
[13th Hour]
[By the time the 13th hour rolls around, Tsukasa is still at the shore. He's frozen completely, not even blinking or appearing to breathe. He keeps appearing randomly translucent, or sometimes a figure totally cloaked in static. Rarely, his regular form will appear for a split second, as if it's trying to correct itself, but then it disappears into static once more.]

13th hour (And hello once more)
10ish PM
[He approaches warily, giving Tsukasa a look over before addressing him.]
Hey! H-hey...what's wrong with you?

G-g-g-glitc░▒ng.
no subject
[IS THIS SOME GLITCH VIRUS IS IT CONTAGIOUS]
no subject
no subject
...
Wait, so it's connected to that? [God, if this is moving to people...Desco had the same thing.] You don't have any robotic parts in you, do you?
no subject
[He flickers completely out of sight for a moment, before returning.]
G-g-g-g-g-ga▒e av░ta▓.
no subject
[He boggles at the boy for a good whole minute.]
You're not seriously telling me you're a video game character. R-right?
no subject
[Even speaking like this is frustrating. He wants to stamp his foot in frustration but he can't get himself to respond.]
no subject
[THIS IS GETTING WEIRDER AND HE DOESN'T LIKE IT.]
So, what you were human once or something?
[wow continue to ask the glitching person questions they can't answer well sam]
no subject
[The tone seems desperate, as if he's trying to convince more than just Sam.]
13th Hour
This time he finds himself walking along the shoreline, but stops when his eyes discern a human figure from out of the red moonlight. He stops, blinking back wary hesitation. He wonders if he's seeing wrong, because whoever the kid is, his eyes are seeing burst of static instead of something resembling a solid form, and that's not normal.
He walks closer, and the body continues to glitch and flux. Shinjiro's not sure what to make of it. Doesn't know if he should trust it. But now that his eyes can actually make out more fine detail than he could from yards away, he recognizes Tsukasa from the network. Still doesn't mean he knows what the hell to make of it.
He keeps his hands firmly in his pockets.]
Hey, kid!

[A few beats and his form appears again, though he's translucent. Through him, from the direction of the cathedral, a creature can be seen. It nears him, pointedly ignoring Shinjiro. Tsukasa doesn't move or even react. He can't see it, after all.]
[Still, a barbell-shaped form of static suddenly appears behind him. It doesn't look like it can do much while it's this corrupted, though.]
10ish PM
At first, she had thought that the 13th hour had come early, watching the strange figure flicker in and out of her vision; but the sky was the same as before, quiet and still as ever. Strange. She blinked her eyes, clutching the sword at her side, and allowed curiosity to get the better of her. Her approach was slow, wary, only speaking until she knew she could be in ear shot of the other. ] Who-- Who are you?
no subject
[His mouth doesn't move, but he's still audible somehow. He attempts to move his hand but his arm disappears for a few seconds.]
no subject
Answer me!
no subject
[His tone is clearly desperate, and he tries to move again, but his body won't respond.]
no subject
Are you alright?
no subject
[He flickers again and his normal form appears for a brief second before he goes staticky again.]
no subject
... What is going on?
no subject
[He sounds upset, like he'd be hanging his head if he could.]
no subject
[ Unfortunately, she has no clue what that means. Ah, the woes of living in medieval times. ]
no subject
No▒ ▒orking r▒░ht.
no subject
... Not... [ She pauses, leaning a little closer. ] Working right? [ There's a small frown - she still doesn't exactly understand, but she follows up with a question. ] Is there any way I could help?
