Summary: Kazuya and Hitoshura, giving into demonic urges to conquer humanity for Demon Kind. Time to detain the Demon King and Hell's General before Hinoto-Ri is destroyed! Brave heroes, rise up against them and their demonic legion!
Warnings: Lots of violence, demons, and gruesome injuries.

The Gemini district was in absolute chaos.

Well, the entirety of Hinoto-Ri was in chaos - especially as the Taurus Boss had now descended upon the unlucky five of heroes - but Gemini was different. The hostile demonic population of the 13th Hour was swelling at an alarming rate there, spilling over into the neighbouring districts and attacking all those that they came across - no matter their star sign or status. It added more confusion and panic to an already dangerous situation, and those who were not occupied with defeating the crazed Earth Signs, or the bull monsters, attempted to stem the invasion of hostile demons - with varying success.

What was causing this? Was it part of the Zodiac Event? Some other 'Final Boss'?

Well...

In the midst of the chaos, Kazuya and Shura whipped up the local demon horde into a frenzy. Humanity's souls must be polished by the strains of war! Humanity must be made pure by the blaze of blood and fire! Humanity should relinquish control of the city to those born to rule - to lead - the King of Bel and Hell's General! The 13th Hour had caused their demonic side to spiral out of control, and now it seemed like they were going to mount a full on invasion onto Hinoto-Ri!

Who is willing to plunge deep into the mess of demons to face them? Who is brave enough to stand up to the dreaded Atlus Optional Bosses? Who is crazy enough to try and kick some asses?!

Well, that would be you, visitors.

THEME MUSIC!

[[OOC: Alright! It's game time! While we have five heroes dealing with the final boss, there's this optional boss fight open to those who are interested! You can fight and NPC demons, as well as fight against Shura and Kazuya! The name of the game is to detain them in any way possible, even if you have to snap their legs to do it. Don't bother being gentle. They can take whatever abuse you throw their way!

For the list of demons that will be milling about, here is a handy dandy list prepared beforehand! Refer to this when needed. I'll be NPCing some demons when required (such as for those who are GREEN for damage levels), but you're free to NPC some in your tags as well!

[Huh. That was the Persona she'd picked up.]

Someone give me a read on this guy's weaknesses if you can.

[For now, she's going to stand back and summon Vima to cast Masukukaja on the group.]

Shut up. [ Garviel says, hosing a long burst of bolter fire at the annoying demon. ]

[Okuninushi buried his blade into the soft earth as the lightning struck him, standing there stoically as the electricity ran into the ground, before wrenching up his sword to deflect the flurry of bullets. Somehow, the demon managed to make those movements flowing and graceful - and one hundred percent casual]

Is that all you can muster? This is not enough to meet the power of King Kazuya, let alone the Hitoshura.

[His words were not mocking. Just matter of fact, his face as still and unmoving as a doll's]

Wait. Back up there a second. You don't mean Kazuya Minegishi is your king?

[Shiiiiiiiiiit.]

"...eh?"

Wait, what was that bit?

Desco's eyes light up, casting a red glow over the surroundings as she processes what the demon just said.

"How dare Miss Shura try to steal Desco's position as Final Boss! Desco is going to go give her a piece of her mind!"

Okay yeah completely ignoring both the demon and all the other participants of this little skirmish to just fly off in pursuit of Shura now.

[Wow okay what was even happening anymore. Everyone was being dumb and stupid and also that weird tentacle kid flew off and she looked like she might actually do some damage---wait had she said something about a final boss?]

Hmmm....

[While Desco was flying away, she got a notice from her phone. The message was simple.]

Hey doesn't a Final Boss usually tear open a simple lacky as proof of their superiority first? Don't cheat and run off by yourself, get your tentacles and your everything back here first and destroy this guy!

[She had played her own share of games. She knew how this worked. She also really, really, really wanted this damn weirdo out of the playing field so they could get on with it.]

On the one tentacle, Desco is capable of telling when someone is trying to manipulate her. On the other tentacle, she does have her pride as a Final Boss to consider.

And she's just within range, too...decision status: made.

"Yog-Sothoth!"

She angled the blast of laser breath to just barely avoid hitting the gathered defenders or the demon, instead opting to blow a massive crater into the battlefield.

"Desco does not exist for your convenience!"

With that, she stares at Lash, pointing two claws first at her red eyes and then moving her hand to point the same two claws directly at her. The message is pretty clear: Desco sees what you did there.

And with that, Desco flies off.

[Okuninushi allowed Desco to fly off - truthfully, the demon had deemed Desco more than worthy to go on ahead without confrontation - and didn't even flinch at the Final Boss's brief return to blast a hole in the battlefield.

He only sighed. Well, Desco was gone now, so the challenger's numbers had dropped to four...]

Mortals...yes, that was his name when he was once human. Now he is King of Bel. But enough talk. Your greatest ally is gone. Muster your strength to prove your worth.

Of course it's those two. Kids really need to learn that the Dark Side isn't a toy...

[Meetra facepalms at the general goings on, but shakes it off.]

Okay, little girl or no, I think the tentacle monster can handle herself while we take this guy out. We need to hit him hard and fast. Cerberus and I will charge in while you girls pin him down with magic. If he lasts more than a round I'll move to healing. Sound good?

"I-I can only... heal right now..."

Midori sounded dazed. And that was because she was. There was no way she could fight Kazuya. He was her friend - but he was a bad guy - but he had saved her life - but she couldn't let him keep the destruction going-

It was probably for the best that her attack power was limited anyway.

"Alright then."

Meetra didn't need telepathic powers to figure out she knew one of the kids who was doing this, and was freaking out about it. She looked Midori in the eyes and said, "just keep us standing so we can beat this guy and go talk to Kazuya, alright?"

Midori nodded, and seemed to come to her senses. She could definitely do that, and they could resolve this with minimal bloodshed.

With that, Meetra nodded toward Garviel and charged, sending Vima out ahead of her with a Blade of Fury attack on Okuninushi.

Garviel's coordination with Meetra is nigh-supernatural, coming in from the left as she sweeps in on Okuninushi, pincering the demon with the shrieking, hungry chainsword.

"Back to the Warp, foul thing!"

Hmph.

[Okuninushi deems Garviel as the biggest threat, swinging its blade to meet the chainsword. It left itself open for Blade of Fury - but it took it in stride, stoically enduring the blow as it shoved Garviel back.

In the same movement, Okuninushi swung its blade again, bursts of energy flying out from each swing - Deathbound]

[Midori wasn't a strong fighter physically, nor good at taking powerful hits-]

Eek!

[-but she was strong magically, and it wouldn't take her long before waves of healing energy washed over her side of the battle to counteract Okuninushi's attack.]

Rangda, could you cast...

[Rangda, Midori's other summoned demon, nodded and attempted to curse Okuninushi with Diajama. Midori didn't know if he could heal himself, but she didn't want to take the chance.]

Okay, can anyone tell me if there is something that can hurt this guy?

[On the off-chance it would work, she calls out Vima again and attempts to charm Okuninushi to at least distract it.]
