"So... left and then right?" Nano asks, before she forgets the directions from before.

"We should probably hurry. We could go get the treasure, but I think defeating the monster is more important."

"...That's probably true, but I half wonder if the treasure isn't like the Staff of Banishing Nyarlathotep Forever and Saving Hinoto-Ri or something. I wouldn't put it past them."

Atsuro will continue whispering while glancing around.

"We probably should go on, though - what were they saying about a button?"

"Pressing the button will wake up something that's being guarded."

Sarah pauses for a second, clicking her talons together.

"By the way - would you prefer I change my arm back?"

"The thing that's being guarded might be the zodiac monster..."

Nano blinks, looking over at Sarah nervously.

"U-um... that's up to you, I suppose."

"...In which case, we need to press the button to wake it up to destroy it."

Atsuro glances at Sarah as well.

"Maybe you should keep it in case anything else tries to check up on us."

It wasn't that big of a deal compared to the demon apocalypse.

"Understood."

She pauses for a second before continuing.

"Just so you both know - my God Arc can fire healing lasers. If you cluster up, I can set off a radial bullet that should be able to heal all of us."

"Healing... lasers?"

That sure is a thing.

"That's good to know!"

Yep.

What happened to good old Mediarahan....

"...R-Right. Should we... move on?"

Left, then right it was. Although the treasure is honestly kind of tempting. Maybe they could go back afterwards.

Sarah is an old-fashioned girl that likes sticking with the classics, thank you.

"Let's go."

And with that, she takes point again.

"Okay. Let's hurry, then."

Nano falls into step behind them.

With the advice of the slimes, following the maze ends up being a piece of cake. As the enter the last corridor, everything starts to take on a much more science fiction-like appearance. The stone walls turn metallic with lights all around them. Even the walls seem to pulse from the flow of information.

Ignoring the treasure, the team turns towards the area where the guardian is supposedly waiting for them but...

A door blocks the way. A red sphere stands on top, with pink, blue, yellow and black ones right underneath.

"Please Enter The Password."

The voice is metallic and unidentifiable. The only problem now is...was there a clue about this anywhere?

Atsuro looks for the swordfish-shaped button but fails to find one.

"Erm. ...Maybe this is our punishment for cheating or something."

"Nothing ventured, nothing gained."

Sarah steps forward, shifting her God Arc to blade form, and grabs the red sphere. immediately shifting the Arc into Shield Mode.

"S-Sarah-san...!"

Nano screams, summoning Geppetto and hiding behind Sarah as she takes the red sphere in hand.

"I don't think brute force ever solves these kinds of puzzles..."

Atsuro will not hide behind Sarah but he gets his Persona ready just in case.

The door still refuses to budge, not matter how strong the attack. Eventually, the voice speaks again.

Well uh...that kinda sorta worked?

"U-um, well...! We needed to fight it anyway, right?"

Even so, Nano looks a little panicked. Excuse her while she just casually drops a World Revolution on the group in preparation for the guardian coming out in ten seconds.

Sarah will just do the first thing to pop into her head, namely: grab all the remaining spheres while shouting out a password.

"Happy birthday!"

Which is...probably not the password, but she's really irritated the repeating days thing made her miss her birthday.

"Password! ...Password1! Thisisnotthepassword! 123456!"

Atsuro will contribute. ...These were some of the most commonly used passwords anyway surely one of them would work.

A loud wrong sound echoes around them.

There was smoke rising from underneath the door, and the sound of something clawing from the other side.

Nano's already given up on figuring out the correct password, so instead she's going to finish getting ready, summoning her keyblade and striking a defensive pose.

"Get ready, everyone!"

Five seconds...Sarah will just shift her Arc back to Blade Mode and release the seal, switching it over to Predator Mode as she aims the slavering maw at the opening door.

"Tear down and devour the gods! Fenrir!"

"Next time, we're holding a vote before we do anything with password doors."

In a flicker of light, Seiten Taisei and Laksmi appear before him; the project image of Daidara-bocchi is too large to appear in this closed space, but his disembodied feet will do the honors.

The door continue to interpret their speech as password requests.

"

...Time's Up! Game Over.

Instead of the door opening, the floor under the group opened, leading them to slide and free-fall for a few minutes in a slide before landing in what looked like a giant circus ring. A reddish tent stood far above them. There was no sign of the slide that had lead them here. At least now they had much more of an area to work with. A snap, and there were headlights shining above, despite having no metal bars to hold them up there.

"AND FOR OUR NEXT ACT! THE MONSTER LION TAMERS!"

An invisible audience clapped while music played in the speakers. A tent door opened to the left, and three lions or more like chimeras really, slowly walked in, snarling, growling, roaring, hissing, basically anything that could be seen as an act of intimidation.

"WATCH, AND BE AMAZED AS THEY TAME THE BEASTS OF THE WILD, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!"

Insanity barely started to describe this place.

[Not exactly what Nano had been expecting. She cringes a little as the lights come on, holding her keyblade protectively in front of her as her Persona Geppetto floats behind her.]
